Q.

Q. Should I file Bankruptcy?
A. Bankruptcy should be your very last resort and only after seeking the advice of a licensed attorney. Bankruptcy and its drawbacks stay with you for up to ten years. If you have enough discretionary income to resolve your debt over time, we recommend that you attempt our debt restructuring program in lieu of filing bankruptcy. Resolving your debt through our program will have a more positive impact on your credit rating in the long run.

Q. Can’t our attorney handle this type of problem?
A. Yes, but negotiating with creditors is what we do, and all we do. That is our specialty. We do not practice law or give legal advice. We are independent negotiators. We don’t bill by the hour like attorneys do. We don’t receive attorney fees, either. And, if we are not successful, you don’t pay anything, so you have nothing to lose.

Q. Is your program like debt consolidation?
A. No, not exactly. We work with your creditors to negotiate fair and reasonable payment plans that either extend your debt resulting in smaller payments over time, and/or reduce your overall debt. Our goal is to negotiate what you can afford while keeping your creditors satisfied.

Q. How long does the process take?
A. That depends. The length of time for program completion will depend on your having certain funds available to initiate the program. The amount of time necessary to complete your case will be discussed with you in your initial consultation .

Q. Is my information kept confidential?
A. Absolutely. We are committed to maintaining complete confidentiality. Your information will not be shared by anyone except those persons authorized to receive information on your behalf. However, creditors will be advised that you have contracted our service to assist you.

Q. What can I expect from your program?
A. Expect a substantial debt reduction in the amount of debt you owe to unsecured creditors. While results vary, we have settled outstanding debt sometimes for as little as ??% of the total balance owed.

Q. Does your program work with every creditor?
A. While we cannot guarantee 100 percent participation in advance with every creditor, we are proud to say that we have a very high success rate. In fact, to this date, we have already settled $$?? dollars of consumer and commercial business debt.

Q. How do you determine these settlements and reductions with creditors?
A. Negotiating is our specialty. This is what we do. It is our core business. Over the years the need for our type of services has increased tremendously. We take away the stress and pain business owners like you experience and save you money by eliminating legal fees and court costs. Our experienced staff and professional approach really works.

Q. What if I don't have enough money to cover the settlement?
A. We will work out a deferment program where you may pay back your debt over a longer period of time.

Q. Can I get a settlement and deferment at the same time?
A. Yes. In many cases a creditor may make a concession on the total debt and still take monthly payments on the balance.

Q. Will I be able to do business with suppliers after you have negotiated a settlement?
A. Yes, almost 100 percent of the time. Most companies want your business to recover so that the may continue to profit doing business with you.
